Lenora's Fight to Win ALL Leukemia
I've known Carlton since he was a kid (Funny how 10 years in age difference gets less the older you get), and we photographed Carlton and Jordan's wedding in 2014. I've gotten to know how wonderful and insightful Jordan is and consider her a good friend. So when we got the text that Lenora had ALL Leukemia, my heart sank. Seeing friends go through something so awful is hard when you just want to take it away for them.
Jordan and Carlton have walked this path the last 2 months with honesty and vulnesrabitliy and strength in Jesus. They have let others know when it's hard and they need help and when they are encouraged by the news and peace they have.
I am incredibly honored that hey are allowing me to document this journey for them these next 2 - 5 years. I want to tell their narrative of the amazing family they are together and as an example of the followers of Jesus.
Lenora was on steroids the first month and her food cravings were intense and all the time, so today she wanted chicken nuggets. :)

They also have a 1 year old boy named Canon and he is a sweet little light in these days.

So many wonderful people have brought gifts of toys, gift cards, meals, and anything else they need. I was there when a family brought some gifts for Lenora. :)

This stuffy is her favorite toy and comfort.

They want a family photo on the couch each time I come over to document their journey. I think it's a wonderful idea.
