Eugene Family Photographer: In Home Session
I love photographing families that trust me to document their every day and to see their mundane as the beauty it is just for them. Our mundane, every day "boring" moments hold so much beauty, and I love to tell this narrative for families.
The Sorenson Family had me begin their session by arriving a their home before they went for a walk to the neighborhood park like they do often. It was a bit drizzly, so the kids put on their rain suits, got on their bikes and rode, some with the help of Mom and Dad. They played on the wet playground and had a blast, not realizing how cold it actually was. ;) Then we headed home for some snacks, and nap time.
The fall is approaching and I have lots of ideas for storytelling sessions if you want a location idea. Going to the pumpkin patch, picking apples, baking holiday treats in your kitchen, picking out a Christmas Tree. And add a family film to any of these sessions for a complete story. :)
I think a session and a film would make a beautiful gift for a grandparent or family member who can't spend the holidays with you.

Travel Dates for 2024!
My travel dates are set for 2024 and if you live in any of these locations and would like a session within these time frames, there is no travel fees!
IF I'm not coming to your home town (or a vacation destination!), then please still inquire because I have ways to decrease the travel fees. :)
