A New Creative Venture for Me - Branding Photography
One new thing I'm branching out in this year is Branding Photography. If this is something new to you, you aren't alone. It has been evolving over the last several years. It's a type of business photography that instead of the stale, very posed, and artificial light - and brings in the story behind the business and the owner and what they provide and do for the community. I really love this approach because I believe in small business and Covid was difficult on the small business. I want to try to help bring small business back in to the forefront of the community's mind and make a genuine connection for both the owner and the client.
This is why I love Branding Business Photography.
Before the session we chat about what story you want to tell, items you want to show, behind the scenes you want to document, etc.
Then I spend about 2 - 3 hours (depending on the business and what they need) just hanging around and documenting what we discussed. I ask questions about what you do and are doing so I can get a clear picture of what angle of photo would best serve you.
My goal is to give you images to post on social so you don't have to think about it daily. You have a file of images you can just pull from and caption them how you see fit for that day and season. It's exhausting to keep up with social and I want to make this job easier on you. You can also use these images for websites, newsletters, etc.
